Founded in 2024 by Pastors Donnell and Tiesha Askew in Massillon, Ohio, Redeemed Acts Ministries was birthed from a calling to do more than simply have church. We believe God has called us to BE the Church—a living, breathing reflection of the love, power, unity, and service demonstrated by the early believers in the Book of Acts.
At RAM, we believe church is more than a building, worship is more than a song, and ministry is more than a weekly service. It is a lifestyle of obedience, discipleship, compassion, and service to God and His people.

From Faith Being Tested to Faith Being Put into Action
Behind the vision of Redeemed Acts Ministries (RAM) is a testimony of faith, perseverance, obedience, and God's unwavering faithfulness.
Pastors Donnell and Tiesha Askew were united in marriage in 2021, beginning a journey neither could have imagined. Shortly after saying "I do," their marriage entered a season of intense spiritual warfare. Health challenges, job loss, financial hardships, and the responsibility of caring for ailing parents became part of their everyday reality. While pouring into the needs of others, they were simultaneously fighting battles in their own bodies, finances, and spirits.

OUR STORY:
The first two years of our marriage stretched our faith beyond anything we could have imagined. Yet, rather than allowing adversity to separate us from God and each other, we chose to draw closer to Him. Through fasting, fervent prayer, worship, standing on the Word of God, and tearing down spiritual strongholds, we learned what it truly meant to trust God when circumstances offered little reason for hope. What appeared to be a season of breaking was actually a season of building. God was not simply bringing us through battles; He was preparing us for an assignment greater than ourselves.
In early 2023, during this season of spiritual growth and refinement, God revealed a vision and a name for His ministry: Redeemed Acts Ministries (RAM). The vision was clear—a ministry that would not simply have church, but would exemplify the Church described in the Book of Acts. A ministry led by the Holy Spirit, grounded in the Word of God, devoted to discipleship, and committed to meeting both the spiritual and practical needs of people.
Despite the clarity of the vision, there was great hesitation. Having endured so much personally, stepping into the responsibility of establishing a ministry seemed overwhelming. Yet, for a year and a half, the Lord continued to speak, confirm, and reveal His plans.
Then, in 2024, the instruction came with unmistakable urgency. The Lord said, "NOW." With faith greater than our fears and obedience greater than our understanding, we answered the call.
On October 5, 2024, Redeemed Acts Ministries held its first Sabbath worship service, marking the beginning of a ministry birthed through prayer, refined through adversity, and established through obedience. Since that first service, RAM has grown beyond the sanctuary walls, extending the love of Christ into the community through discipleship, spiritual counseling, outreach, residential support, and the establishment of Massillon's first emergency overnight shelter.
Today, we our lead with a shared conviction that the Church is not merely a place to gather. Our personal journey has cultivated a deep compassion for those experiencing hardship, an unwavering dependence on the Holy Spirit, and a passion for seeing lives restored through the power of Jesus Christ.
Together, we are committed to building a welcoming, multigenerational, and multicultural ministry where people can encounter God, discover their purpose, grow in faith, and experience genuine Kingdom community. Our story is a testimony that God can use the very seasons meant to discourage us to prepare us for divine purpose.
What began as a vision during one of the most challenging seasons of our lives has become a living expression of our calling:
To preach the Gospel, equip the believer, edify the Body of Christ, support those in need, and advance the Kingdom of God by exemplifying the Church in Acts.
Redeemed Acts Ministries is more than the ministry we founded. It is the assignment God gave us and we carry it with humility, honor unto God.
